Description

We are thrilled to announce the return of the UK Lyme Conference on Saturday 16th November 2019 in London, England.

2019 has proved to be a year where Lyme has been reported more than ever in the UK and European press with higher incidences of tick bites leading to Lyme Disease and other Co-Infections nationwide.

Based on research and published data 2019 is set to be the highest year ever of tick-vectored disease incidence and distribution across the UK. No longer is this a disease that is restricted to certain geographical areas across the UK. It is now being found across England, Scotland and Wales in forest, woodland, country fields, agricultural land and even our own back gardens.

As the weather warms in the UK, and our winters become milder, tick populations rise and the risk to Public Health on a national scale becomes ever more prevalent. Never has it been more important for the UK health services to collaborate with our global partners in the pursuit of effective diagnostics, research and treatment for patients.

The Lyme Disease Clinic UK, based in London, works closely with the world renowned BCA Clinic in Germany and the Medical Centre in Prague supporting research, diagnostics and treatment of Lyme Disease and its co-infections.
